Illinois attorney general finds 451 Catholic clergy abused nearly 2,000 children
A nearly five-year investigation by Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul identified 451 Catholic clergy and lay employees who abused 1,997 children in the state's six dioceses since 1950, far more than the church had publicly acknowledged.
